Phase I of the new IITMAANA website will be released on October 23, 2014, in time for Diwali. It is based on the NationBuilder platform which tightly integrates the website, the dynamic people database, integrated conventional and social media communications and financial management functionality, to make this website a highly interactive alumni oriented, relationship building platform.
Integrated with email, phone, text, and social media communications (Facebook, Linked in, Twitter, etc), it enables alumni volunteers and leaders to efficiently link up and manage events, membership and fundraising campaigns, and is particularly suited for a geographically dispersed alumni base such as ours.
It is designed to bring together and engage IITMAANA members in US, Canada, and Mexico for meaningful interactions and benefit for each other.
Once deployed, we will need volunteers from the community for all kind of roles to operate the website: content writers, content editors, broadcasters, website admins, tech support & helpdesk, bloggers, event managers and organizers, chapter champions and leaders, fundraisers, etc.
The Phase II website redesign and development effort will start in November, soliciting and incorporating your feedback and input for refining the website. We expect the Phase II website to be deployed in December 2014.
