Osam Ezzeldin is beyond reasonable doubt one of the brightest shining lights on the keyboard horizon today. The North-African born prodigy was awarded the United States citizenship after receiving a full scholarship to Berklee College of Music following his first appearance in the United States. After honing his skills in Dallas, Boston, Cairo and Istanbul, Osam Ezzeldin made his debut on the International circuit by working with bass legend Chuck Rainey, performing with drummer Dave Weckl and recording with the great Billy Cobham. Osam’s versatility in World Music makes him a valuable addition to a new generation of keyboard virtuosos. Additionally, his abilities in the realm of odd meters may be unparalleled. Most recently Osam has been collaborating with Tabla maestro Zakir Hussain on a classical concerto, arranging for full orchestra. Besides being an impressive musician, Osam Ezzeldin is also a consummate composer.
